The Lizard and the Angel

In a time long past, there was a fair couple who bore two children. The first son was a lizard, the latter, an angel. The couple loved their two children dearly, but a great shadow had befallen them all. As they grew, the lizard adorned glistening scales, whilst the angel’s wings grew in dark feathers. Deviating from the darkness that emanated from the angel’s shoulders, the couple was instantly drawn to the lizard’s magnificent scales.
